Local guide for Ben Nevis

It is only you and the people you choose on the course, so the course will be at the level you want. We always talk to you before the course to make sure we choose the right venue and level to reach your needs. These are bespoke, tailored days, book the day and we’ll make sure you get the right day.

Yes, booking two or three days means you will learn more, cover more skills and gain a huge level of confidence. We will even give you a discount code to use at the checkout to give you a better price!

Winter days can be tough; long walk-ins, extra equipment and clothing, snow and wind can all increase the challenge. The more ‘hill fit’ you are the more you will gain. Remember it’s only you and your friends on this booking so you will not be held back or pushed too hard because the whole adventure is about you.

If you want to buy lots of technical clothes in bright colours this could be a great excuse!

For many people your normal ‘summer’ mountain waterproof jacket, waterproof trousers, warm-layer such as a fleece, wicking base layer, gaiters, basic goggles, hat, neck gaiter with several pairs of gloves and a warm synthetic jacket will do. We give you a full kit list when you book.

Want more adventure?

Why not book a ‘rest day’ abseiling, climbing, scrambling and the amazing Tyrolean Traverse across the gorge in Glen Nevis.

All these activities are only a short distance from the road, so great for a low level day that is high in adventure.
